The most favourable winds here are: Easterly, South Easterly, East South Easterly "Speed Strip Wind" and South Westerly. It can be sailed in most wind ranges.
Mid to low tide and then low to mid tide again is optimum for windsurfing. SE E ESE SSE are ideal, can be sailed at these tides on SW but it is a shorter run. High tide is sailable but it becomes choppy in the SE and SW. High tide also tends to release the grass off the island.
